Come learn about the proposed ASSEMBLIES for Fall 2020. Each presenters will have 3 minutes to propose an idea for an ASSEMBLY they would like to lead. Make sure to RSVP to receive zoom information.

After the Pitch Meeting, 5 groups will be elected by a vote by the NAVEL staff, board, residents, members, former ASSEMBLIES organizers and current applicants. While only 5 groups will be supported by NAVEL this term, groups often choose to organize independently. The Pitch Meeting is an opportunity to connect and learn about the projects, practices and interests of different community members.

ASSEMBLIES

ASSEMBLIES is NAVEL’s platform for collaborative research, discussion and creation supporting community-led, socially-engaged and multidisciplinary learning groups forming around a topic, practice or project.

For three months, NAVEL provides each ASSEMBLY with space (currently online), community, support, tools and resources—including a peer network, micro funding, facilitation and anti-oppression training.
